I was ordered by Andrew to take the tutorial down, but I know it's archived somewhere. If you ask around, you might be able to find it.

Would you recommend using a sewing machine when possible or do you think it should all be sewn by hand?

If you can, sew it all by machine. But for beginners, hand sewing is probably a lot less frustrating.

Yes it is! It's a very narrow seam allowance though; only .4 cm.

Um... I have been using your tutorial, and you kept saying "BODY BACK" And... In the templates you have there isn't a body back and I'm just kinda confused, can you clear this up at all... please? :3?

wow I'm very excited about trying to do my first scalemate, but I was wondering if I could use a back stitch instead of the running stitch? because I don't know how to use a machine sewing and I think it won't be enough strong if I use the running stitch on hand sewing, thanks!

The running stitch is plenty strong, but there's nothing wrong with using a backstitch if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Hello!!!! I have a small question about the seam allowance on the pattern. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know what it is?

well i havent really sewn anything befor....and ive never make a plush befor, but id like to have a small army of these XD
but with out the tut..im a bit lost...there are letters from A-D that im not 100% shure what their significance is, then there are these "dips" such as on the back of the head where i think it conects to the neck? theres also these "point" that are the oposit of the dips there on the feet bottom and head and a few other spots....no idea why. For the belly what up with this hard mode and easy mode? the dif is the hard has a point on it but i don't know what the points evan mean...but id go for the easy one anyway so i guess that dosent matter.
i took a quick look via google for your tut it dosent seem loged anywhere (pll are pissed tho ) with out it im feeling a bit lost on where to even start...i guess the head?

The letters in the pattern are to help you line them up with other pieces. Ex: there is an A on the top of the head piece that corresponds with the A on the head side piece, so you know that those pieces are supposed to be sewn together along that side. As for the dips and points, those serve basically the same purpose. Pieces with those are sometimes particularly difficult to sew together, so as a guideline, you can line up the dips and points.
