Description This is the thirteenth image in my greatly delayed Visions series.

OK, it's been well over a year since I did anything serious with POVRay. The hardest part is coming up with the inspiration. I'm a visual thinker, so I need to have the idea in my head before I sit down to start coding in POV.

But hey, it's got the usual chrome, brass and turbins in it

But this is the first image in the series that doesn't have the starburst. I just felt that it didn't fit.

I've finally started up with Moray and POV-Ray again, now that my machine can handle the renders I want to produce.

Of course, the first thing I did waslook for the files I'd done up many moons ago - only to remember they were all casualties in the great HD crash of 2001 that wiped all my graphics.

Working from memory to relearn.. funfufun!

My first attempt was an object drawn by Leonardo DaVinci. Very interesting study in how objects that don't actually exist react with each other - when trying to rebuild it with Moray. I'll polish it up ... in due time ... and put it up when I can.

It's weird working with stuff in POV. Things that seem really really easy to manipulate in the real world become a cast-iron bitch to create in POV
