Northern Exposure is my all-time favourite show. Chris in the Morning, the radio DJ on the show, worked at the KBHR radio station and was my favourite character on the show.This is me, wearing my Chris in the Morning KBHR shirt, standing in front of the KBHR studio set, in beautiful downtown Roslyn, WA, the little town where Northern Exposure was filmed, all those years ago.

Stupid question, but you know that episode of NE, where they Talk about Rosylin and Cicely.. were thier stories true?

Yep, it actually exists. I was kinda surprised to see the radio station set still there. Maurice's office behind it has gone though - it's now part of a large furniture store.
From memory, it's the only set still existing in the town. The building that was Fleishmann's office is now a gift store.

How exciting to get a shot of yourself in front of something so iconic. Love the happy smile and the idea of the image Geoff. Must have been a great trip. I loved Northern Exposure, but why did I always think it was in Alaska?

Because in the show, it was supposed to be in the town of Cicely, Alaska 
Being in Roslyn made me happy (well, one of many reasons I was happy on that trip). I'm glad that the old set is there - it's about the only set from the show that is still there. The building that used to be Dr Fleishmann's office is now a gift shop, selling all sorts of NX stuff. I bought myself a new Chris in the Morning shirt when I was there, which is what I happen to be wearing at the moment
