Description F-4D-26-MC, 65-0590 assigned to the 127th TFTS, 184th TFTG, Kansas ANG based at McConnell AFB seen during a TDY in September 1985.

As McConnell was the F-4 "Schoolhouse" for all ANG/ AFRES pilots, the "Jayhawks" had several F-4D's in the ADC grey scheme carried by ANG units that were tasked with CONUS air defense missions.

Note this jet carries a grey painted radome instead of the usual gloss black radome.
