Description
This is my first "official" painting in Painter. I discovered the uses of this program several days ago, and I'm really liking it. A lot, in fact. So I thought I'd go a little all out and draw something of my own and color it.I tried to go for that uplifting and happy feeling that I know so well from the beginning of summer vacation. Mine just ended, what a pity.
Software: Corel Painter 9 and finishing touches in Photoshop CS.

None is better per se.
Painter imitates real media easier than Photoshop does, but Photoshop does pretty much everything else better than Painter does (filters, color adjustment, generic comic coloring, etc...).

The picture captured that feeling so perfectly with that ear to ear grin, large eyes and enthusisastic feet! I still know the feeling...and it's brought back to me everytime I look at this! Great job!

Wow. this is so cool, you have totally captured the moment here. I use Corel Draw 9 for my airbrushing, its pretty good.
