Description
This is my first "official" painting in Painter. I discovered the uses of this program several days ago, and I'm really liking it. A lot, in fact. So I thought I'd go a little all out and draw something of my own and color it.I tried to go for that uplifting and happy feeling that I know so well from the beginning of summer vacation. Mine just ended, what a pity.
Software: Corel Painter 9 and finishing touches in Photoshop CS.

Well it's not my first time in Painter. More like my fourth (not counting the times I used Painter in Digital Art class a year ago, but each and every one of those pictures sucked). It's great for traditional art, only in digital. Thanks man!

Yeah, Wacom's are worth it. I have an Intuos 2, and I can't imagine working without it.
They're pretty expensive however, and not that easy to get the hang of at first, so you have to really be into the whole digital art business.
