Eh-he, I love feathery raptor's so I revamped Muddpuppy's "Cerulean" for a more 'fluffy' look.Muddpuppy is a popular DA artist who's gallery holds much humourous and well done digital artwork. Coming across Cerulean, a blue Utahraptor, in her gallery, I was compelled to draw her (both because of her great design and raptor-dinosaurs/dromeaosaurids being my favorite type of dinosaur).
So the newly feathered Cerulean takes a walk through the Cretaceous forest (which, for some reason, has grass...hey, grass makes everything look better. Forget that it hadn't evolved yet!!) and promptly is hounded by a trio of colorful Microraptors. I was going to put words in their mouths in the picture, but it looks so clean I had to let it stand alone.
Red microraptor: Look at me! I'm pretty too!! See-see??
Purple microraptor: You's got big claws, lady.
Blue microraptor: Oohooh! look at me! Ooh! Look at me!!
And poor Cerulean doesn't appreciate the attention. Alas...fame.
(I forget if Microraptors were a Jurassic or Cretaceous species, if someone could enlighten me I'd appreciate it)

Microraptor gui (the species you have in the work) are from China in the Early Cretaceous. And I must say, this is a nice picture! Especially the background!

Microraptor gui (the winged raptors in your work) lived in the Early Cretaceous period. Other than the fact that there from Asia, this pic is awesome!!! I love dinosaurs but raptors are the best.

I remember reading "Raptor Red" and Bakker mentioning something like Utahraptors migrating from Asia into North America, so it might've happened. Thanks though, not knowing drives me nuts.

this is soooo sex. I was totally not expecting something this sexy. I LOVE HER DESIGN. I like her feathery look, it's hard for me to do that for some reason, i'm going to try and draw her like you do <333

Those little creatures around Cerulean! It gives the picture a humorous look to it, where as Cerulean, himself, seems to be rolling his eyes in either mock annoyance, or pure annoyance- It's great!

Aw, so adorable! I love the small red creature on Cerulean's back. It makes me think the raptor's kind of uneasy and helpless in a sense that it's being pestered.
