Getting there - slowly but surely... I had the day off today, so took advantage and spent my time painting, but I've still got a long way to go!This is about one-third of the full painting.... still have to finish off all the hair, and refine the fence once all else is finished, on the ride-hand side of this crop.
Hope to be finished within the week!!

Wasn't sure how this was going to look, thought the shadows across the face would be very intrusive, but it's looking fine.

Thanks! I'm liking the shadows across her face too... it is scary though, painting it, and worrying if it's not too dark, too red... but when you look at the painting as a whole (which I am hoping to complete within the week), it all ties in rather well together - PHEW!!
