Description
This was a good day. Three trains in 40 minutes. Rare for this line, considering some days wouldn't see three trains in 10 hours (many of the coal drags ran through at night). The first was the best. A unit military equipment extra led by two UP SD70Ms (#3835 and #3799) framed up nicely through the trestle over Big Creek on the Sharon Springs sub in Hays, KS.

Where are you that 3 trains an hour is a very good day?
My dad and I visit Cajon and Tehachapi, so no shortages there.

Read the comments.
The UP Sharon Springs sub is fairly dormant by your standards. I live in the KC area now, which is the second-busiest rail hub on the continent (behind the Chicago area). So I don't have any shortage of action. ;D

Wow, great shot. Aging bridge next to the green tree (full of life) makes for an interesting contrast. good shot of the train as well,
