Elina feels the scholarly, detached portion of her mind break free altogether and get swept away in the horror of the moment. "Stop!" she cries, ceasing her struggles against the Hellbinder's cords and bracing her hands over her ears to block out the pillaging words. "You are NOT my uncle! Stop using his voice!" Curling within the diminishing shelter left her within the darkness of her thoughts, the Scholar's ragged breath turns into a sob of spiritual exhaustion. "Not Uncle Anjer," she gasps, "please make it stop. Please..."

Okay, truth be told, my heart broke a little bit drawing this one. "The poor girl!" I said aloud to myself. "Jeff, what the hell are you doing?! Look at what you're putting her through!" Needless to say, I have an appointment with my shrink late tomorrow--I had to schedule it with enough time to get Page193 done, of course...

Seriously, though, if anyone was in doubt that Emily provided me with kickass reference material, I'd think this is proof to the contrary. She deserves a hand for her emotive ability. Feathered-pics Thanks, Emily!
