***********************************************

There is nothing scholarly about Elina's reaction to the horror looming over her; in her desperate scramble to get away, she turns onto her back and flails arms and legs in futile defense. The hesitant lethargy of the Hellbinder's ropes and appendages that marked the success of her previous escape appears to have vanished behind a coordinated precision of limb and loop. Rope coiled into "feet" claim support on the flagstones around her person, and the pale gray of the grasping hand clutches eagerly at the air as it dives toward her.

Grading a big pile of Statistics exams, so the pages are coming a bit more slowly for another few days. As (almost) always, Elina was drawn using the awesome references given me by the awesome stock model, Emily, at Feathered-pics . If you like what you see, please let her know. Thanks, Emily! Your expression here was perfect.

The reference image I relied on the most is not posted on Emily's gallery.

Enjoy!

Note: Bookbinding and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones real mistreatment of this kind toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.

Actually, we've already had that. Gus the Gremlin, being directed by Jervil had used her Hanes-for-Damsels brand in the first half. Elina didn't accept them as stuffing, so he had to use Magic(Tm) to cleave gag her with them.

Oh great.    Now I'm going to have to go back and review all those masterful drawings of clothed, semi-clothed, and nearly naked Elina almost getting tied up.    Schazbät!

I believe here faile35.deviantart.com/art/Boo… and the following, are the pages in question. Though I'm sure that my assistance shouldn't detract you from such an endeavor.

Reading through this fun thread, I tried to provide a response to clear up any confusion. It's here: comments.deviantart.com/1/4876…

Regardless, thanks for the comments and interest. It was a fun read.

Nope.    That's a strip of Elise's chemise or slip.  As they say among the gremlins: close, but no crotch panel.

Gotta tip my hat to chibipoe here, the blurb for the image she referenced explicitely says "her wadded underwear". Doesn't mean I'd be opposed to seeing it carried through to its full potential now, of course!

Yeah, given what I put in the narrative on that page, I can see why someone might think a panty-gag was used there. After the rather delicious (hmmm, right word-choice?) treatment I read of the panty-gagging option in an emailed narrative a few months ago, I've considered it at length. This comment applied to the discussion thread will explain more.

"Her wadded underwear" does not imply "her wadded panties."  It could equally mean "her wadded chemise," which it is, even though it isn't wadded.  Ad hoc ergo sub rosa habeaus quoad delicto!  I rest my case.

Is it odd that I'm expecting the gremlin to return, after it's trussed her up, to dispatch the hand and use the tied Elina for it's own gains?

Well, I don't think it's more odd than many other elements of the story as it has shown up thus far...

Just going by the Gremlin's comments about how her eyes are for it alone. There's obviously some disagreement between the gremlin and the Hellbinder, and one hand of the binder isn't going to be all that effective against someone/thing that knows the proper spells. You went to great pains to remove all of Elina's defenses before bringing just the hand back, so the Gremlin has a chance.

Either that or I'm reading too much into things...

Let's see. If you're referring to the Artist Comments narrative on pages 207-208, the gremlin's complete rhyme says:

"Big and tall, make her fall.
On the floor, still and sore.
Crawl and squirm, tasty worm.
Sparkling key, belongs to me.
Lady's eyes, the Other's prize."

The intended implication here by "Other's" is that the gremlin is taking the shiny, magical key for his own, and the Hellbinder can have the glasses ("Lady's eyes"). Of course, with the way the Hellbinder incorporates the enchanted body parts of other, non-dead beings into itself, perhaps the gremlin is suggesting that Elina's actual eyeballs will be used in some horrid way. That would mean, then, that Elina would be heading toward some violent end at the Hellbinder's hands, which will only happen if someone else starts drawing this storyline besides myself, because, well... this artist/author doesn't kill female characters, just captures, strips, and humiliates them as surely as the sun comes up...

Actually, I misread the rhyme. I was thinking that the gremlin meant her eyes was it's other prize. Not meaning the glasses, but her ability to see, and thus use her with the mirror, etc etc etc. I misread "Other's" as "other".
