How big this thing is? Because for me it's look more like some kind of dropship or ground support gunboat than huge destroyer. It's because of forwards/downwards- turrets (if that things in the front of ship are turrets) and cocpit (or this blue spheres what looks like cocpits). If I'am wrong than sorry, but for me it seems so.

Yea, i guess so...But, i do wish you could do something a bit like girly with your ships...Put flowers and hearts and stuff on them!.Woot,woot....Now that is hawt!

learn to uvw unwrap and then to texture and then sure by all means go ahead and cover my ships in flowers and hearts!

Unwrap?.....Lol, you would love if i did that and put flowers and such on them, huh?..I think i'll do that the next time Joseph goes over to his Gandma's over night so all night long, i'll just do that to your manly ships and turn them into girly ones!

unwrap is waht you do in order to determine the texture cordinates on a 3d model....requires you have a 3d application, and unwrapping is considered by some to be the most difficult part of the process (i cant even do it right)
but hey, have fun with em....jsut do it well and ill be ok with the butchery...maybe...i think....i may simply be disturbed on a irepprable level

well im actualy 9-% certain that you wouldnt be able to unwrap t as you dont have the software needed to do so....just drawing things onto the ships may or may not work...is not an easy thing to take a non-3d image and make it look right on top of a 3d image

it is impossible to make a 2d image into a 3d image without a 3d modeler. but it is considerably more possible to make a 3d image into a 2d image...otherwise you would not be able to see most of the work in my galley

didnt mean it that way at all, the term is refered to as "industry jargon" essentially it is language that no one but the people with knowledge in the specified industry will understand. it has nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with knowing one's profession

not quite, im saying that because it isnt a feild you have experience in (you never have done 3d work as far as i know) the term's are not ones that you are framiliar with. if you took the time to learn, or research then it would all make sense...or if you like ask on im and ill explain

Nice, though it looks a little plain. I'm guessing you have some detail limit or something so the file isn't too big right. But for what detail is on it, it looks pretty cool.

yeah...polygon count had to be kept below 3000
doesnt leave a whole lot of room for extras...should be fixed in the texture however

Yeah, that kind of sucks. But when you're working with a game over polying can give it problems in the future. I bet that thing will look awsome with textures.

it should be able to open one of the export filetypes in the least, but there is a small problem of me not having a laptop at the moment

hmmm....its doesnt have a command destroyer look, i think needs more a little of a drastic kind of look and a really bad ass weapon design, ssince its a destoyer anyhow XD

in aff destroyer's are the 3rd smallest ship class. a "command" destroyer serves the role of foreward command/control and data relay rather than being a fighting/flag ship
were we talking a more conventional commmand destroyer classification, i would agree with you completely however
