Very wonderful work on this! I love the scales on her face and hands, and that tail is SO AMAZING, so big, graceful and flowy!

Thank you so much!
I did this with a lot of enthusiasm, got very tired in the end but it was absolutely worth the effort I too love the scales, although I'm working on a better and improved look, more scaley and shinny

Hello! I found you from the Give and Get 2 Comments, 6-7 Lines folder and I was instantly attracted!
I already can say that this piece is extremely well made. It's looks extremely well crafted and the colors are gorgeous, I love the different shaped water bubbles, they are such a amazing stylistic choice! The only thing I'd say that Alexia's shirt pattern being the only thing not hand drawn really looks out of place and breaks the softness of this piece! :< But no worries, her gorgeous expression and her amazing tail saves the day, lol.
It's just amazing, I don't know what to say. I love the color choices, the hues you went with, gorgeous! The scales on her face blend too much with her face but nothing a little more shading can't fix~ And if you made the base of the.... sand? a little bigger I think it would give the piece a little more finished look than have it slightly floating~
The purple, red and blue colors are the most prominent and they look brilliant together!
The shadow her left arm casts on the rock under should be a little blurred because the further away something goes the more it's shadow is blurred~
The shape of the coral behind her looks almost real, like someone took a picture and just put it there, that's so awesome.
Your art is amazingly stylized and deserves more love and favorites and comments! It's absolutely amazing!

Hello from ! This is such a great piece of art! The design is simple, yet very effective. The color scheme is pleasant to look at, and I’m reminded of Ariel from the Little Mermaid (although that’s probably mostly due to the red hair), the ears are exquisite and are a subtle detail that adds a lot, the tail is really cool and fluffy, and the scales are perfectly placed. The outfit is not something that one would think of when one thinks of traditional mermaid wear, and that appeals to me personally and my sense of playing against tropes, especially the tropes of the fictional and fantastical. Her expression is soft and alluring, which is pleasant and inviting. Everything blends together nicely. The sparkle pattern placement gives a nice sense of water current and character movement, although the sparkles themselves are a little distracting from the overall piece. The shading on everything; the hair, the tail, etc. is also perfectly subtle and adds a lot to the piece. The shadow that her hand casts on the rock is weirdly shaped compared to her normal looking hand in my opinion. The background is very nice, the coral is pretty, but might I suggest expanding the sand to fill the seemingly empty space at the bottom and to make the blue background seem even more like it’s an underwater scene instead of a just a colored background. It would help further cement a scene, although the sand that you have is a nice touch. Overall this is a very nice piece which deserves admiration. Keep up the good work!

Whoa! First off: the mermaid design is solid; the color scheme, the ears, and the tail! Even the scale placement on the skin was a really nice touch, and the way it blends together and sort of glows is really awesome. The shading on the hair is also really good and the same goes for the tail. Oh my gosh, the tail! The fin is so pretty! A tail fin like that would definitely be used more for show. It reminds me of beta fish, even though the males are the ones that have those kind of tails.
Second: the bubbles and particles certainly captures a mystical underwater setting beautifully. The amount of time that must have taken, I can't even imagine. Which leads me to my next point.
Third: The background is also quite nice, but it's a bit lacking in some parts. The sea stars look like they've been copied several times, when they some of them could have been drawn individually. The coral, though, looks pretty good. Even the shadows look really nice. I feel like the sand on the ground could have used a little more color, or perhaps filled up the rest of the piece.

Hey
Thanks a ton for taking the time to leave a comment, I'm super thankful <9
Twice as much because YOU'RE RIGHT
I did those stars with a brush so yeh, they don't look as blended as they could, thanks!
Also, that idea with the sand is helpful, I wanted this to look like an island, you know? as if this was a little piece of land/sand with the coral and the girl only, but maybe I overdid it and ended up with a cut and not a piece xD I'll change this, thanks again!

I love her long flowing tail! I love to see mermaids with more fan-like appendages. Very nicely done! The snowflake-esque bubbles add a nice touch!

Thanks a ton!
The design is not my intelectual property, though, I was given a photo of a silicon tail which had like many fins in it and I took that as a basis, but I'm so glad the final product was to your liking, it was hard work, now I know why it isn't as common as it should xD
Thank you also for taking the time to write me a message, I appreciate it much

Amazing!
I love how you made the fins on the tail so big, as well as the little bubbles and sparkles around her!
Well done!

Thank you! I'm pretty proud of those, the reference I got was massive too and I was not sure how to handle so many fins!!

School uniform girls are always a sight to see =v=
I believe the uniform comes because the girl just transformed into a mermaid, no time for a change of clothes
