Yay, it's done! Now you can all glory at the cuteness that is Ki's big 17hh elven warhorse stallion Eqaetz - as a wee colty! Isn't he so cute? I drew this using a picture from Spirit of the Horse by Bob Langrish and Nicola Jane Swinney - awesome book for horse enthusiasts btw, full of gorgeous pictures of various horse breeds and not a single equine subject is wearing tack!

Little Eqaetz is gamboling through the lovely, extremely lush wilderness of Taveria, where he was born. No doubt his mama Triorri is quite close by, watching her adventurous little colt kick up his heels.

For those of you who have been following my art and know who Eqaetz is but are like "wtf, isn't he supposed to be GREY? why is he black?" well, fun fact for yehs - dapple grey horses are ALWAYS born black and fade to grey! Also, the markings they have as squirts usually are barely evident when they're big.

This is my b-day pic to myself, because I love my Eqaetzy.
I got his name from a name which meant 'storm,' if you're pondering about the title.
