Description
Classic idea from classic science fiction, yes x)Once I saw a scene like this in a dream and it was really scary x__x I hope it'll never happen in real
Also it's kind of metaphor of my own condition, as always ._.
I have a very strange feeling, sometimes I even think it's not only a feeling, but a real desease. Hard to explain the whole situation, but last half of year or even more I've been really stuck in repeating and silent degradation. I feel isolation from the society, have problems in university and my future seem to me very empty and dark. I still draw something, but it's mostly drawing for others and finishing old ideas, no development, nothing new. Strange situation - my art in only thing that I like about me and from the other side I'm deeply disapointed in it.
Still alive in an awesome suit of education, work and family support, still hearing others' voices in helmet's receiver, but so far away, helpless and lonely and only drifting away into darkness, emptiness and silence
Sorry, I'm really upset now

This drawing has a lot going for it. The best part is that you can see your focus. Some parts of the sketch are quickly yet easily done; the figure is well rendered. Other sections, like the background.. you can tell you took a lot of time to put in the dark, and it's consistent line work. The fact it's only dark in the front of the astronaut was also effective. It relates to your story so clearly. You are communicating with your art. And that's quite an achievement.

I did it mostly unconsciously, but you found a logical path in this drawing, and I can not disagree with your words... I rarely see such deep interpretations of details and even analysis of drawing methods. Thank you very much for attentiveness and cheering!

Know that feeling. Don't let the receiver shut down. From time to time there are new voices there, like a thin shining thread to the good people somewhere in that void. Sometimes it just can make you feel a little better, sometimes it can inspire you for something new, sometimes it can turn into someone's hand, that keep your from falling deeper. As an experienced asocial astronaut I can tell it's mostly the first option. But who knows.
Wish you inspiration, keep drawing awesome stuff. Your colours, characters, ideas — it all really works. Also art is the way of communication too.

You are certainly right! Don't let the reciever shut down and speak yorself. Losing connection with others is the last thing of this all... And yor're right about everything else. I think the same myself, but sometimes eyes focuses only on one thing, and the rest of the world fades. Or you can not do anything with that inspiration...
It seems my english-speaking camouflage works!

Brilliant sketch, the hatching is very professional and light but enough to show detail. I think its a very good portrayal of your feelings and I hope you can dig yourself out of the void you speak of. Lifes a bitch and it takes a tough soul to get through it in a way that isnt all stress and depression. Keep up your amazing art and generally things turn out not as bad as one thought
