Uploading more canon stuff I drew earlier...

In my hc Scar and Strange lion from the TLG already knew each other or at least they met before the events of the song "When I led the Guard". This is the scene of their first face to face meeting.

In my story, Strange lion (I named him Kiburi) is the oldest son of the Outlands king named Jabari. At time when Ahadi and Uru, Scar and Mufasa`s parents, reigned, Outlands and Pridelands finally built some kind of peace. King Jabari of the Outlands wanted to rebuilt the trust which was broken by his selfish father. So, Pridelands Lion Guard, led by Askari who wasn`t yet called Scar, was to patrol the borders and also part of the Outlands, they checked the king`s family, brought food and water when needed and also kept an eye of the dangers that could come from the deeper parts of these dangerous lands. Old king was accepting this help and also was ready to provide all the help needed in case of the danger. But his son Kiburi wasn`t agree with the peaceful decisions of his father. He believed that Pridelands took away the glory of his once most powerful pride and he plotted to gain the throne to return his pride to the power they once had. Kiburi was exiled by his father from their family for such thoughts but even though Kiburi was forbidden to get close to the pride, he was always near. He was waiting for the right moment to avenge his grandfather, to take the throne from his father and lead their family to what he desired. He spied his family and Lion Guard, but with time passing he started to loose his patience and started to come really close to forbidden territory. That`s when the Lion Guard finally noticed they were watched by someone from the high cliffs.

Askari and his Lion Guard was on their patrol in the Outlands today. Their usual task was to check the bordering road, the cliffs and visit king Jabari`s family. The dry season was coming soon and so the Outlands would need help with some water and food. They never needed much though, Outlands was never a place for the weak ones, but this help was a peace gesture from king Ahadi himself. Askari didn`t have any will to spend this time in patrol: too hot, too dry... He hated dry seasons but Outlands made him feel like the heat was ten times stronger. The prince ordered his Fastest to go ahead and tell about arrival of the Guard. He and his three other Guards were slowly moving along the narrow mountain path. They weren`t speaking much. Not because of the heat, they just didn`t have much to speak about.
Suddenly, a small stone rolled down from the high cliff above, pushed off the narrow rocky path and flew further down into the ravine. Askari stopped and immediately looked up. He could swear he caught a small glimpse of someone`s flickering tail. Askari frowned. Everyone stopped too and looked up as well.

"Something wrong, Askari?" asked Tai, the Keenest of Sight.

"I think I saw something. Climb this cliff and check out if you can see anyone. Quickly. It might get away."

Tai blinked and started to climb the high rocky cliff. Pebbles started to fall down but the lion wasn`t too heavy and climbed fast. As soon as he got up there, he saw the figure in the distance, that was already running higher and higher to the mountains.

"There is someone indeed! It`s a lion and he runs away!" Tai said loudly down the cliff.

"After him, now! Up!" Askari immediately ordered to everyone.

Chuma the Bravest jumped onto the cliff first, he always was a good climber, even though he wasn`t the fastest and slimmest in their Guard. Kiume the Strongest pounced just right after, his paws awkwardly slipped on the rocks but he managed to climb quite fast nevertheless. Askari didn`t wait for the Strongest and found himself another path to go up. The Lion Guard chased the stranger but he seemed to be few steps ahead no matter how harsh the road was. The unknown lion was already climbing even higher, but Chuma managed to get close to him and tossed him off on the ground. The stranger jumped up, but Tai ran closer too and cut off his way. Right after him Kiume jumped right on the unknown lion and heavily pressed him down with his mighty paws. Strange lion attempted to move up, but Kiume was too strong for him. Stranger angrily roared, but at that moment Askari approached. Pinned to the ground lion sighed and slyly smiled as soon as he saw the prince.

"Ahh, the Lion Guard itself finally noticed my presence! Well done, I thought you will never get me. I must confess, I was a little too naive to get that close and-"

"Enough!" Askari didn`t let the stranger finish and bared his teeth: "I have already seen you when we were first introduced to king Jabari. Who are you and why you are spying on us?"

"I`d love to tell you, prince, but you see, it`s a little, uh-" stranger tried to move once again, but Kiume pushed him harder "you see, your friend is too heavy, maybe you could ask him to let me breath a little?"

"He is not moving anywhere until you identify yourself" Askari calmed down a little and now his voice sounded colder, like it usually did.

"Playing rough, huh? Alright, my name is Kiburi. I am the oldest son of king Jabari, clearly exiled by my dear father from my family."

"The king never mentioned your name. I never heard about you from anyone in the pride."

"Well of course he didn`t" Kiburi chuckled "The old man hates me. So this little hairball he always keeps close to himself is his only son now... And now that you know my name, let me go already, have mercy on my bad back, this guy is too much!"

Kiume growled. Askari ignored stranger`s request and continued:

"You also didn`t answer the question about spying. The intruders are not allowed to the kingdom, so you will be taken to king Jabari. He will decide what to do with you."

"Oh wow, that will be a long-awaited meeting indeed" Kiburi laughed, but then coughed. When he stopped coughing, he spoke again:

"You know, prince, you don`t need to worry about me. That`s mine and my family`s business. You know, the Outlands business. Something you, your guard friends and your family shouldn`t be sticking their noses into..."

Askari narrowed his eyes.

"Are you trying to threaten me?"

"No, surely I`m not! For someone with so much power like yours, it will be so easy to just erase me from this universe with one blink of the eye, am I right?"

Kiburi smiled once again and blinked to Askari with his scarred eye. Askari got silent for a little bit. The stranger knew about the Roar. But how? Askari never used it in the Outlands. What else this strange lion could know?

Before anyone from the Guard could notice his confusion, Askari finally ordered Kiume to get off. He expected Kiburi to flee immediately, but instead strange lion just stretched his body and smiled to the prince once again.

"We have much more in common than you think, Askari. Well now, go ahead, lead me to the king."

OMG someone please teach me how to write these dialogues, I think I have zero knowledge how do I write it all right haha... Either than my BAD dialogue shaping, I hope it`s clear... Strange lion knows too much. So Scar will surely want to know what else he knows. That`s how strange lures him to the trap...
