This is my concept art for what a possible common ancestor of the WoF dragon tribes may look like! Because most people said they thought they would live in the forest/grasslands, those are the kinds colors I used. A lot of the tribes have very similar features, such as a plain tail, curved horns, certain types of scales, etc. I kept those all in mind when drawing this. The horn on the jaw is larger because it seems to be some sort of evolutionary remnant.

This tribe would also be able to breath fire. I feel that fire is the most common of all special traits the dragon tribes have, so I decided fire is something they could use.

I dont know what these guys would be called, Greenwings? Grasswings? Idk. They dont seem very different from the current tribes, but I suppose they aren't supposed to be. Either way, if yall want me to name this species, go ahead and let me know.

Im thinking of doing a short little story on how this species may have split to form the tribes, what do you all think?
