Description
Naruto and Hinata... from Naruto. Was a commish. Didn't turn out so good, though. Pic has flaws. Spent a lot of time on the cel-shading, though..5mm mech. pencil on paper
Photoshop 7 on mouse.

hmm...a critique?
Well Hinata's legs look a bit too long, and the lower half of Naruto seems to be getting lost in shadow...like he...or whatever's supporting him is kind of dropping off.
But this is really excellent, I think. Hinata's personality is well coveyed through her expression...sort of happy, but sad, timid and scared.

i really fucking love the coloring on this, i think more than your usual. it really puts some defenition into the figures, and reinforces the structure of your drawing. i think a lot of times, when you color it looks pretty light, and airy, it looks good but the drawings never really feel solid (because your pencils are pretty whispy) not like, oh that's a bad thing. but you know, i really prefer this cell style shading, and i'd totally encourage you to experiment more with this.
i think the only thing it could use is some indication of grass, maybe just along where they are sitting.
other than that, great work! excellent design to the pic. keep rockin.

Subject matter;
It's great. Of course, their colors are so bright that it seems like nothing that Fallout161 would have done. Your trademark sketched lines were maintained and have been made to fit well with the mood of the pic as a whole. Well done.
Background lovin';
Nice use of green to make the yellows and oranges pop and give us a sense of dimension. Without a defining sitting platform, however, it does look like they were positioned and then slapped onto pretty green lines. Even something as simple as a cast shadow that contours whatever they're resting on would make Joe Mad's stomach flutter up somethin' nice.
As is;
It's cute. I'd put it up as my wallpaper on my computer.
Potential;
Toss this bad boy back in photoshop during the commercial break of "Family Guy," then leave space for a header up top and this'll be the cover of 'NewType.'

I always take into consideration why I fave a pic before I do so, and I kept coming back to this for days after you posted it. Something about the Naruto & Hinata pairing makes me smile and giggle. It's just so cute to think of them being together. This is the kind of picture I've been wanting to see of these two for awhile now. So I think I'll add it now =^^=
You did a great job drawing this, Hinata looks like you could've pulled her right out of an episode itself (except that the coloring style is different, which you also did a good job on, might I add). Considering you haven't seen this anime before, you did a pretty good job. If you're ever given the oportunity to get the manga or episode video's of this anime, I'd recommend getting it. It's extremely good.
Crits:
---> Hinata's left hand *her left* does look kinda awkward, it only looks like she's got 3 fingers until you see a fourth one somewhat hidden behind a lock of Naruto's hair. Regardless, it still looks kinda funny, like alien fingers... just a little something to improve upon for next time you draw something.
---> Naruto looks like he's got a bit of a nose-bleed there... as soon as this pic comes up on my screen, one of the first things I see is that spec of blood there under his left eye next to his nose. For a brief moment until I look a little closer at it, it appears he's got a wide nose and has a nose-bleed.. it wouldn't be so bad considering that in this anime whenever the guys get randy, a nose-bleed becomes the result. Naruto is probably no exception to that, but one would think that if he's had a rough fight he'd be too tired to care about getting dirty with Hinata. I haven't got much of an idea on how too fix that as I'm far from being a color wiz, but maybe this particular red spot should've been longer, like a long cut instead of a bad bruise.
---> Some of the coloring looks like you did a big rush job on it. Particularly Naruto's hair and Hinata's pants. The b/g looks like that too. Like you wanted to get this done and over with and posted as fast as possible. Bad bad! You need to get a tad more patience. Pics come out better when you take your time on them. Unless you had a deadline for finishing this, in which case you've got a bit of an excuse.
Regretably, I'd have to admit that I've seen better jobs done on other pics in your gallery. But that's okay. It's still a great pic!

Wow you did alot of cell shading work and it really pays off in the pic. The blood on the face, hides the blush just a little, but I think it still works, the blush was defiantly a nice touch, I think I would have rethought the placement of some of the blood on the face, just so they wouldn't blend so much. I think the other thing I would have changed is because its a cell pic, I would have ether gone back and given it a clean line, and trashed the original sketch, or just cleaned up the sketch a bit, because it makes it harder to appreciate all you hard work in the shading. Anyways theres my two cents and them some, nice pic.

I dunno if it is supposed to look that way, but it looks a bit blurry. It kinda looks like it got a little messed up when it was saved as a jpeg. Other than that, it is amazing. I like the cell shading on the pants!
