Description
Naruto and Hinata... from Naruto. Was a commish. Didn't turn out so good, though. Pic has flaws. Spent a lot of time on the cel-shading, though..5mm mech. pencil on paper
Photoshop 7 on mouse.

And my critique. Great composition and lighting, the colors are balanced, and it's cellshading/anime so it's simple = clearer, the picture stands out really well. I have nothing negative to say about this image, I see NOTHING wrong.

eh.. matt, you know i respect your art but i think a lot of people here are intimidated by your skill so they're scared to post anything they can see wrong. the main thing i can see wrong is the legs on hinata.. they're a little too long.. and hinata's back is very straight ( but that might be on purpose, i dont know about hinata's posture

Very sharp, detailed cel-shading, but this is very deep and very sweet. Adorable and yet very simple. I love this very much.

wow you can definately tell a lot of time was put into the cel shading. there is a lot of form in it, and form with cel shading is extremely hard to achieve, and you did it extremely well. hinata and naruto look awesome as well, i love them in your style. as well as the pose, it says a lot, and the blood stains / bandages look great. very nicely done.

I think it is fabulous. This seems like a hard pose to do without a reference, so I think it turned out very well. The only flaw I can see is that Hinata's right arm seems a little too short. Everything else seems fine. I like the background the way it is, it adds more emotion, and makes you really think about what it *could* be, not what it is.

I am trying to find something wrong with it to help ya out, but its just your style, I think you did a good job, if you could point out what you dont like about it, like the pose, the possitioning, the coloring? Some might be able to give you advice.

i realy like it... but i think if u made a background or something it would kinda help.... because here we don t get the sense that she s sitting on something and the color of the background takes a bit of the drawing off.... but otherwise realy good

wow.. great job... i think i saw this on your... ermm.. "site". or at least a earlier version... i think that its great! you have such a good drawing style.. everything is flowing, smooth and proportional.. even the folds that are in the clothing are how i would imagine them if the shirt(s) were real... yuo are also great at lighting... there is something else that draws me to your art.. but i cant see mto pinpoint it. Anyways, GREAT JOB... i liked it and think that you captured it perfectly... you are definatly a favorite artist....
