...is hard. At least, to Halcyon. I guess she's rubbing her nose. *shrugs*Teh pic has problems. Feel free to point them out. I spent way too long on this. Several days, on and off.

The bg could use some more life, since some of your best pics have awesome bg's. Her left foot (the further one) looks like it's growing out of her right foot. Eh, must be a depth illusion caused by the strap on her right foot.
The wings are great, having plenty of volume and all, but they look more like hair than feathers in some places. Can't blame you for that. 
I'm also unsure of the location of her eyebrows. Actually, I just can't see them. If they're pretty high, behind her hair, that would ruin the sad expression on her face. Maybe it's the resolution, or they're too subtle.
The colors are great, the perspective gives the feeling of gravity. The prettiness of the pic outweighs the noticeable mistakes.

This frankly is one of my most favorite illustrations from you. the detail and the color in this, are wonderful. i love the mood it sets is wonderful. i was perplexed at first at how many wings she had...but i quickly figured it out...and i still love it.

I have to agree with blackquadra on the background idea of hilighting her and her wings by making the pic a little darker. The ground doesn't look like ground, but it fits what I've seen of the character. Bravo.

dude, since the days of teamartail and even up to now your art has always rocked, but if you really want a critique, I would have to say the bkg for this pic isn't one of your better ones. also the ground Halcyon is sitting on could look like it has a bit more life in it, sorta like the bkg you did for "luck of the draw" or "wispers of melancholy" something not so dark but similar enough to hilight her and her wings. speaking of which, I wouldn't change Halcyon's pose in this pic, it's already awesome the way it is ^^ !

Very beautiful.. almost looks like it could be an acrylic or oil painting. There's a certain amount of.. almost underpainting.. done to make it look very textured. I'm loving the colors in the ground and how they really compliment the figure. The rendering of the wings is beautiful! I love all the curves and shapes.. really well done. I usually don'T take the time to comment on stuff anymore.. I've always been keeping track of your stuff, though. THis is definitely one of the better ones, so I had to say something

wow that is gorgeous, well I cant see many problems, however the index finger on her hand looks a bit weird , her left foot looks a bit strange, the perspective may be a bit off and her toes look a little stubby (that could be because my toes are freakishly long and Im not used to seeing short toes) but on a whole I think this picture is beautiful and any imperfections are hardly noticable!

This is beautiful. I love the soft wings and Hal's always adorable. The only thing that stands out to me that might be wrong or a mistake is the feet. One is either way too small or the other is way too big. >_o But other than that, it's gorgeous. <3

I really love that you used complimentary colors like that. It really makes the image dynamic. The pose is wonderful, too. The way you've positioned her leg and wings really pulls me in and the lovely details keep me there. Her left foot, I think, needs to be repositioned, because it feels like it should be further back in order for that size to work. Some more line variation might help to bring the figure forward. Right now she gets a bit lost in all that detail. This is really wonderful, though. Sorry I couldn't say anything more useful. ^^*

If the wings are going to be bloo u shuld make the BG hot colors or some neutralz for a better contrast, in fact if the BG was completely black or white it would be better since her character design is so complicated, simplicity wuld help, otherwise its a bit too busi...just a thot

rofl ... actually, i should laugh, because it is SOOOOOOOOOOO annoying. They really need to sort this place out. Especially for us people who are paying (ok, im not right at this moment, but thats only cos of how glitchy its been just recently)
Its actually been crashing my pc. Itll just randomly freeze it. Its really quite horrible. Its the only site that does it, and this is pretty much the only site i use. AERGH
Anyway, the pic. I must honestly that its one of the best - one of the coolest renderings i have ever seen. Im not going to pretend that i entirely understand the pose, or the pic ... is she falling down the side of a building? Dunno. But, the textures, colours, details, lineart (and what you have selected to remove of it and keep of it) is just brilliant. Seriously, i'd say its your best pic yet for technical and creative merit

problems.... well the only problem i really notice is the transfer of the colours you would have used in photoshop to the internets very very limited colours, so maby a little less smudging and variations of colours would make the whole thing just look that little bit better.
