Description This was mostly painted with an old cloth napkin, q tips, mineral spirits, and some of the worst brushes in the world. This is my first oil painting in about 10 years. I only had one tube of color for most of it, and then last night I got off my behind and bought a tube of white to scrub in some highlights. It would not be wrong to say that I think 80% of this was finger-painted...

Hand is feeling ok. Resting sucks... Actually I'm kind of going insane, hence "Guess I'm just gonna paint this bitch with a napkin then". XD But, painting doesn't appear to hurt, so I guess that's what I'll be doing this week. Don't worry, I am taking a lot of breaks! I am super behind on replies though, as typing is slightly aggravating, so sorry about that if you're waiting on a reply from me.

Think I'll paint Erandur next...

Thank you so much! I love wrinkles, haha! I look forward to working with this medium more, it feels like sculpting somehow.

Oh that's a *fantastic* comparison. something about the way paint builds on every previous layer that feels like a little like carving <3

Thank you! I try reeeaaaallllly hard. I love portraits, I love faces, so I try to go the extra mile wherever possible. I look forward to making more of these. I put my painting stuff away for a while to see if I could handle digital yet and I can in small increments. Phew! But I'll be painting more for sure.

It looks great! You're great at oil painting,I've never done this, although I think it is not necessary,it is unlikely that anything good will come out XD
I'm glad your hand's okay, you know, you can take turns doing everything, first digitally, after the pencil and after the oil and stuff,I think it'll be convenient owo
( waiting for more of your oil work,it's amazing c: )

Well, first I have to buy everything you need, although I think that this will not happen, you know, I have long been even watercolors did not draw, what kind of oil XD
It will be necessary to pay more attention to this, and so far as it owo

Oh man I tried using oil paints once and I didn't even know what they were. They were in an art kit I had. I didn't realize they take days to dry xD Haven't tried them since
