Nature/Summary characteristic: Naughty // Hates to lose.

Powers/Abilities:
Plant manipulation: Flora’s sole offensive ability as a superhero. She can do quite a few things with plants, ranging from moving them, growing them or potentially weaponizing them. At first she can only grow small saplings and the motion range of the plants is very limited, but this will change over time.

Photosynthesis: Not literal photosynthesis, but Flora can regain energy and use her powers much more efficiently under bright sunlight. This isn’t really much of an ability but more of a by-product of…well, that Flora is a plant.

Ability: Overgrow.
Moveset:

Vine Whip: Flora uses vines to attack the opponent. This attack stems a lot from her powers.

Leaf Blade: Flora uses the leaf on her head to attack the opponent. This is probably her only attack that doesn't stem from her powers. Used when fighting melee.

History:

Flora’s story begins in a sprawling, dangerous city with many different areas and people contained inside of it. The little Chikorita was the second to be born into her family—after an elder brother, Forrest, the offspring of a Meganium mother and a Venusaur father. The mother, a middle aged woman named Jennifer Reid, ran a small flower shop on her own while the father was never really around, disappearing for months or even years at a time. A life without much discipline was probably the worst thing possible for this curious Chikorita who had been a handful from the moment she hatched from her egg. She had rejected her brother’s attention from the time she was younger and only clamored for the attention of her mother. “Mommy, mommy, mommy”, that was the only word uttered from the Chikorita’s mouth. But she was always busy, always busy, and it got to the point where Flora just gave up altogether. She would get irritated and try and annoy her brother, to mess with him, to get under his skin to get out her frustrations with her mother. She would run away, just to see if anyone would notice she was gone.

As she grew these habits only grew worse. She sought other means of attention, to make herself feel that she was loved—all this time completely rejecting the attempts of protection and siblinghood Forrest continued to offer. She tended to hang out with the “wrong crowd” desperate to get herself some friends, cool friends, who could get her a boyfriend. She started to cut her tops and wear much more revealing clothes—anything for the attention. She figured out how to act so that others might think she was cool, and respect her as one of their own. It was around this time Flora picked up her “flirting” habit. She went through boyfriend after boyfriend and it wasn’t enough. What would make her happy? Even she didn’t know.

This was around the time Forrest left, too. Flora was perfectly okay with that, he was starting to get under her skin still trying to “protect” her, although he hadn’t even been around as much anyway. It was about a year after that, with Flora still hanging around trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life, when she was sitting with some of her mother’s flowers one day and they…grew. Just like that, sprouting up at her command. What did she think this would be perfect for?--Helping her mother with her flowers. But her mother’s immediate reaction was that she should go to the Justice League to better harness those powers.

Misinterpreting that was her mother just not wanting her around, Flora got frustrated and left for the League. If that was what her mother wanted, that was what she would get, she figured.

Personality:
Flora is a bit wild, if you want to put it that way. Unlike the stereotypical, mild Grass type who may prefer a quieter environment this girl would hate being stuck in one place for too long. The life of the party, this Bayleef just likes to let loose and have fun. She loves the spotlight, and seeing everyone's eyes on her. This can work as both a motivator and an underlying flaw. She'll do almost anything for attention. One of the things she tends to do is, well, she is quite the flirt! She tends to make the first move when it comes to those boys she just has an eye for. While fun loving she is also reckless and impulsive, not putting a lot of forethought into her decisions and often falling victim to peer pressure.

However, underneath the surface she's not exactly stable. She is very competitive and can become very mean very fast when she sees someone as competition. (This is a lot of why she had problems with Forrest as well.) Since her whole perspective is arranged about drawing more attention to herself, if she sees someone as a rival she is prone to being downright cruel and sarcastically sweet towards them. It's hard for others to really tell what exactly turns her from a fun loving party girl to a vicious bully, but to her it is her immense rivalry and desire for attention. Beneath her front however is a girl who misinterprets and overreacts to things and really just wants attention from one person and to be loved. (This isn't exactly what she wants, but that's what Flora thinks she wants.)

Hobbies:

-Roller skating, although quite frankly she's horrible at it

-Going to parties

-Flirting shamelessly

-Annoying Forrest

-Growing flowers and then destroying them (she'll do this when she gets upset or when she's just on her own.)

Extra:

-Her brother Forrest is owned by *Jwaterworks .

-She'll only soften if you really get close to her (if you can put up with her)

-She giggles a lot if she's genuinely amused. Given, you have to be pretty close for her to giggle.

-Gets bored quickly.

-Dresses in revealing outfits usually, nope, this girl doesn't seem to have an insecurity in the world about her body.

-She mails her mother whenever possible, not that she'll let anyone know about it or anything. After all, what cool girl cares about her mom?
