Personality:
Sky enjoys meeting challenges head-on and generally has a chipper attitude when dealing with extenuating circumstances. Optimism is what she feels is the key ingredient to life. However, for all her brave nature and optimism, Sky can be rather impulsive and oblivious. Her obliviousness can tend to get her in trouble for her lack of understanding danger in some situations. And good lord is this water mouse stubborn–if she sets her mind to something, she is determined to finish it. Sky also loves making friends, having fun, and is very adventurous.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Sky grew up with her family in a small little village surrounded by lakes and rivers of all types. She grew up a happy little Azuril in that environment. Swimming with her older siblings became a huge pastime for her, which kept all of their minds occupied on those days their parents went off to work for the day. Busy, busy, grown up lives they had. So when Sky discovered she could preform small tricks with water at her early age, her parents never knew of such a thing. Sky hadn't known that they were "abilities" or "powers" at that time–especially since her powers were so underdeveloped at the time–, she had always passed it as some talent she had or a magic trick she just learned. Just like her brother could roll his eyes one way or another and her sister could stand on her head.

Just a little silly quirk like that.

During her childhood, she often went on many explorations. On one of her small excursions around the lakes when she was five, Sky heard the sounds of a baby wailing. She went to go investigate and what she found was a three-year-old Totodile sitting beside the lake bed and crying. When she asked him what was wrong, he said that he was lost and didn't know how to get back home. While Sky didn't know how to take him back home though, she did help him to stop crying by preforming her little water tricks–bringing the water up to splash at the Totodile's face.

Once Sky brought the little Totodile–who introduced himself as Slasher–back home, her parents took care of finding where his home was. As it turned out, Slasher's home wasn't very far from their village and taking him back home was easy-peasy. But ever since then, Sky and Slasher had been close...almost like brother and sister. They would visit each other, hang out very often–they were nearly inseparable.

As Sky continued growing up with her best friend, her powers were steadily becoming more prominent. She attempted to practice them, but each time she did ended in minor destruction...more often than not a small flood. The first few times she had been able to get away with everyone blaming it on the weather, but Slasher was the only one to know any better and catch on to who was the cause of these little floods.

Slasher recommended that Sky join this league he'd been hearing about–a league that could help people with powers like hers and train them to be better. At first, she was very much against the idea because she felt like she wouldn't be responsible enough to handle YJL. However, upon thinking about it more, she eventually complied, but not just with the motive of "getting a handle over her powers"...no, she wanted to strengthen her powers to protect the ones close to her. Her parents, her siblings...Slasher. All of them.

They would give her a reason to fight for something.
