+NATURE:

+PERSONALITY:
When you first encounter him, Andy can come across as a little serious—he can be very straight-forward and almost gruff, but incidentally this is because he isn't the biggest people-person. And not in the misanthropic way; he honestly can be very awkward with people. Living on a farm for quite a while, Andy kept mostly to himself, the few close ones he had, and to the animals on-site. He didn't interact with so many others and thus he can be a little distant and oddly silent. Yet he was always taught good manners, so he tries to treat people as well as he can by giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. He is always attentive—sharp both in wit and in noticing details. Even when it seems he isn't paying attention, he generally is.
He's an independent individual and isn't always used to requesting help of others, preferring to do things on his own. Sometimes, he might come across as a little rash, acting quicker than he thinks. This is shown best when under pressure. He generally knows how to keep his anger in check and can be quite patient. However, he does have a habit of being impetuous—the 'shoot-first-ask-questions-later' kind of guy. He is not resistant to change though and can be very adaptable when things come his way.
On the flip side, though, once you work past his awkward 'charm' and get closer to him, he's a very compassionate, loyal individual who can be very loving if he cares deeply for you. Though expressive with his facial features, he himself is a very reserved person, keeping his guards up around everyone he is particularly unfamiliar. Which makes him not exactly the...friendliest person on the surface. So if he feels comfortable enough to share thoughts and most of himself with you, he views you as very close. He feels deeply about the boundaries between 'right' and 'wrong', which means he's one to normally follow the rules through and through. He's also the type to wear his emotions perfectly on his face; so if he feels happy, uncomfortable, or playful...you would know immediately.

+HISTORY:
Alexander grew up in a rather lively farmhouse, born to retired marine official Mortan & dance instructor Trish. While his mother still worked in the city, his father had settled down into the farmlands to establish his own farm, to which he could sell his crops to the city. For a lot of his life, the young Stunky aspired to be like his father—a refined, sometimes strict, older man who understood justice in the world and had a relatively good heart. His father, and grandfather included, used to always tell him stories from their times in the military. At the time, he didn't understand all of the troubles and obstacles that came with war, and—to his credit—his father and grandfather used to leave out many details. What the young Andy mainly learned from those stories was how to distinguish between 'good people' and 'bad people'. To him, his father and grandfather were portrayed as "heroes"—these two strong individuals who triumphed over their enemies and helped to make the world a better place. They were amazing, they were brave, they were something to aspire to be.
And thus, with that attitude, Alexander aspired to be a police officer.
After going through elementary and high school and graduating from college, Alex moved uptown into the Hearthome City. There, he enrolled into the Police Education & Training Academy when he was around 22 years old. For a time, he felt the job suited him. He was doing a good service to others and helping to stop crime from running rampant in his hometown. However, about 2 years into his job, he slowly began to realize that the job was more...stressful than he had originally believed it to be. Though, yes, he was doing good for others it...there was more gray-area and uncertainty than what he had idealized it to be in his youth. So, at a point, he retired from his police officer duties and found himself out of a job once more.
It was during this time where he went back to living at home with his parents again, and thus, he worked alongside of his now-retired mother with the ranch. Having idolized his father so much in the past, he had never expressed much devote attention in what his mother did when she wasn't dancing. In fact, he hadn't paid much attention to all of what went into farm-work, as when he was a child he only occasionally helped by bringing in things. He never touched the crops. Now, he got a chance to experience it and found he quite liked to grow things. Tending to plants, watching them sprout, being able to harvest their goods to take to the city... Even after his younger sister had gone into the city to start her own life, Alex continued taking care of the farm with his parents.
It was a very nice, peaceful feeling.
When upon reaching 26, however, they started to give him a gentle nudge towards finding something he wanted to do on his own, as nice as the family aspect was. So, with the thought of taking his farming skills with him into the city, he set off to settle down in Newbark. The town itself was quaint, and with the expansive farmlands and the like, it was quite easy to purchase a plot of land, along with some animals and equipment for his very own farm. Because of Newbark's size, everyone in the town knew each other. Neighbors could often come by to swap crops, which is how Andy made his little money aside from selling crops in bulk to the town markets and shipments to the cities.
However, there were times in which Andy needed to go into the next couple of towns to either promote his farm or handle business-related matters. After all, partnerships were quite frequently between stores that wanted to incorporate fresh produce. It was during these excursions where he met Jordan. Shortly into his newfound hobby/work, he tended to notice a young [species?] around the city. Through a few chance meetings and mishaps, the two became acquainted with one another and bonded. Yet it was obvious to Andy that the young girl seemed to be going through quite a rough time at home, sporting a new bruise each time he saw her. At one point, she asked him if he would ever help her "disappear".
The next time he visited the city, she failed to meet up at their normal spot.
Despite not being much of a people person, it felt odd that her presence was no longer there. Yet she couldn't have gone missing considering there were no posters of her around. Luckily, however, when he inquired about her with one of the shopkeepers that would watch the two of them, the shopkeeper notified Andy that they had seen Jordan in one of the foster kids group. Meaning either her parent or child services had placed her into an orphanage.
Well, it certainly didn't take him long to adopt her.
With that, the two of them settled in Newbark, though Andy was aware of the fact that she needed an education, and with his sister's family wanting to move into his farm, he figured it would be the perfect opportunity to find a new job. Taking an online class to get a degree in one of the only categories he best knew—Zoology—Andy decided to apply for stable-keep and Zoology Teacher at the recently renovated Armonia Institute.
Though he knew very little of the school, he could only hope the best for both he and his little "hellspawn".
