HISTORY:

"Name's Jackie Johnson, called Jackaroo 'round these parts. I say its time for some rootin', tootin', shootin'! Ya ready ta help, patna'?"

That was Jackie's slogan–what you heard when the commercials came on the television, followed by some flashy cartoon animation and bright explosions from the animated gun. He was the popular toy–as well as the other cloned toys made in his same factory line.

He was one of the Jackie Johnson toys.

But as all things did, his moment of glory had soon ended and he simply became just a 'cowboy toy'. His popularity had been spent and as new generations of children came about, they knew little to nothing about Jackie. He didn’t let it get him down too much though, as occasionally a child would purchase one of the toys.

Jackie's day of purchase happened to come on a sunny, September afternoon.

From thence on, Jackie spent all of his time with his new human owner—Steven Bailey. Steven was a cowboy nut: his room was filled with cowboy posters, costumes, and a multitude of cowboy toys. Playtime was never rare at the Bailey house and Jackie was always at least one of the toys Steven played with. They went on rescue missions to save damsels in distress (i.e.: the female toys Steven had)…lassoed random objects.

It was a blast.

Now Steven's father was a scientist, who had just begun to work for some organization called "Zarrox"—Jackie really didn’t care too much about it until, well, something happened. One night, Steven's father—Dr. Bailey—requested that he use Jackie as a test subject for a small while, promising that when he brought Jackie back he’d be an even better cowboy toy than before. This piqued both Steven’'s excitement and Jackie's curiosity. Eagerly, the boy agreed and handed the toy to his father.

It was a good thing that Steven had agreed to the testing, otherwise Jackie wouldn't be able to become among the living. Those tests had proven successful; Jackie could breathe, walk, eat, talk…like a real Lucario. Steven and he could become even closer now.

After that, Jackie remembered spending more time at the lab when he wasn't at the Bailey home, watching shipment after shipment of toys being brought in for testing each day. Some resulted in success—others in failure—but each one that wound up a success, Jackie made sure to give his fellow friends a nice welcome. At least…the ones that stayed at the labs.

Unfortunately, there were many escapees, and he didn’t understand why so many of them wanted to leave. The lab scientists provided them with shelter, food…everything they needed. Most of the scientists were kind of enough—namely Dr. Bailey—so why would they want to leave that? It slightly angered him and he felt resentful to all of those that had taken advantage of the life bestowed upon them.

No soon after he decided to trail after the escapees, leading him into the forest known as "Zaphary". With his newly found teammates—who shared some of his similar views—they established themselves as "rogues" and went about their mission of wreaking havoc on the village. Who would've thought the goody-two-shoes cowboy would suddenly become the bad guy?

•He'd gotten his first sip of alcohol back during his first days of being at the house after creation. Since then, he's loved it and keeps a small canteen of whiskey with him. He refills it whenever he reports back into the Zarrox headquarters.
•Is a "shoot-first-ask-questions-later" kind of guy.
•He actually has a Ponyta mount but its sold separately
•Loves food, and at any chance he gets he'll nab a snack or two from the village.
•Amongst his band of 'rogues', he has a huge gambling problem. Whenever he runs out of pebbles, or anything of value, he'll steal what he can. Better watch out for your pebbles!
•He uses his pullstring as a lasso, but it can only extend so far.
•He respects women and will often choose not to fight them unless he absolutely has to. Even still, he wouldn't really hurt them. Just immobilize them to get them out of his way.
•The posable arms are still retained even in his alive form and he can bend them 360 degrees.
•Can devour a meal in a matter of seconds.
•Not including his ear height and hat, which would make him a solid eight inches, Jackie's seven inches tall.
•Gets offended when people say they've never heard of him.
