Description
This addon contains a 16k surface map and a 16k normal map as virtual textures for use in Celestia. Because large portions of the surface are not imaged in high resolution, I removed some low-res tiles from this pack to save disc space. This addon also features Pluto's faint blue atmosphere.

For installation simply unzip into your Celestia/extras directory. If you want the textures as a whole:

Note: I use Celestia 1.7, you can download it here: celestia.alexell.ru/ . I optimized this addon for Celestia 1.6.1, but I still think it looks better in Celestia 1.7 because Pluto's surface appears brighter in 1.7. If you use Celestia 1.7 change the parameter "LunarLambert" to 0.6 to prevent overexposure on Pluto's surface.

Update Feb 2019

Reprocessed my Pluto color texture and updated the tiles accordingly. The pack also features some tweaks to let Celestia load the textures sooner so they look sharper.
