A visual tutorial on how I draw my eyes:
NOrmal, evil, and Insane.
Steps:
1: draw your base lineart.
2. Draw your eye.
3. On a layer below the lineart layer, fill in a gray color (NOT white) and cell-shade a darker gray color.
4: blur the dark gray with the light gray. Add your base eye color on a layer above that gray layer.
5. Add highlights. Dont worry, you cant really go wrong here!
6. Add shadows. BLur a few of them just to add diversity, unless you really want the colors to pop like in evil eyes. FInally, add light glares and youre done!
