The old version has gotten a lot of attention there was just a few things that I needed to fix and I was afraid the edit was too different from the original. That's why I didn't just update the old one I hope you like the new version!

looking at both right now, I think I like this one better. It gives a "cooler" sense. I find the color tones convey a greater sense of cold and snow. Beautiful shot.

Hmm, I like both shots. They are each different and have different atmospheres, one dark and one warm. One is not better than the other as far as I see it, merely different. Both are nicely composed.

Oh well thank you I've had more people say the like the first one best, but personally this one feels cleaner to me. I'm not sure I like it more or less though

I think so too. It feels cold too and I think that goes much better with the snow. It's all about personal preference and what you want to communicate really.

I think you're right I sometimes lose myself in the post processing thinking more about what other people would like rather than what I want to portray through the image.

I think I like the other one better. It has warmer tones, which makes the sky and trees "pop" a bit more I guess you could say. I think you tuned the cooling a little too much here. Maybe somewhere in the middle of the two would be perfect. Just my 2c. Great composition though!!

I think maybe you're right. This version looked more natural, but the other one was much warmer. I just wasn't sure if the other one was so warm that it looked fake. Well thanks for your input
