A fanart of the game "Life is Strange".I really like Kate Marsh, and this scene made me feel bad for a video game character for the first time.

[laughs] And while you're jumping from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughing his sick fucking ass off! He's a tight-ass, he's a sadist, he's an absentee landlord! Worship that? Never!

John Milton/Satan: Why not? I'm here on the ground with my nose in it since the whole thing began! I've nurtured every sensation man has been inspired to have. I cared about what he wanted and I never judged him. Why? Because I never rejected him—in spite of all his imperfections, I'm a fan of man! I'm a humanist. Maybe the last humanist. Who, in their right mind, Kate, could possibly deny the 20th century was entirely mine? All of it, Kate! All of it. Mine. I'm peaking, Kate. It's my time now. It's our time.

I was watching it and my heart stopped when she fell... or maybe Joey's scream scared me... This scene was so feels-y

Man, this was one of the saddest scenes I've played in a game. Kate was a really well written character, the dev's really nailed it with her. I felt so bad that I didn't save her, though. I guess that's what second playthroughs are for.
