Screw you, Fearow! Wargle/Wooguru is the new HBIC now!

Ever since Wargle was revealed prior to Generation V, he has been one of my all-time favorite Isshu Pokemon. I went through many days wanting him on my team, but as the Isshu dex came to light, I started having my doubts. More and better Pokemon steamrolled past, leaving the poor bird in the dust. Insider information claimed that Wargle did not evolve to or from any other Pokemon, which saddened me greatly. Surely Nintendo heard of eagle chicks, right?
Then came the official release, and poof! There was Washibon... and my heart spread its wings, metaphorically speaking. Nowadays, my favorite Pokemon of all time is a toss-up between Wargle and Skarmory, although it could be a tie considering that the latter still has the highest defense of Flying types and that the former has a wicked Attack stat and is just plain awesome.

This guy, Uncle Sam, is my closest friend in Isshu. While my search for an evo relative proved a total failure, the two of us became fast friends, and pretty soon I became the newest addition to the ever-expanding flock. Sam and I are now accompanied by his girlfriend, Hans the Swanna (who is named after Hans Christian Andersen, author of the Ugly Duckling story), and his comic relief of a nephew, Archie the Aaken *rimshot*

Yes, I KNOW that should be a Basurao in his talons, not a Magikarp. But this drawing was made before we knew of that grumpy fishie, so you really don't have to point that out.

I'm not sure if this could become the next Random Doom (that comic made by *BehindtG ), but it's a definite possibility. I'll have to buy the Black/White game to be sure, though, and it's going to take me a while to find a Skarmory, much less a Shiny, and most likely I'll have to scour across the Dream World to get one.
