Description
After sharing some methods with nam-o I thought I might as well make a little animal-eye tutorial, and since other people have mentioned it as well.I make no claims to the most efficient or effective method - this is just a few simple tricks I learned over the years that I thought you might enjoy.
In Corel Painter X but could easily be adapted to PS.
Enjoy!
Tutorial coming soon: Fox and Feline Eyes. <3

Thank you!
Yes it is almost identical in Photoshop, the only difference is the program interface itself, not the technique. If you have any trouble adapting it feel free to note me or add me on msn (rumi@fealoki.com), I'm always happy to talk art/programs/techniques! :3

Very interesting! The result seems as realistic as a photo could be, I'm impressed!
I'll be looking forward the other coming tutorials from you.
Do you plant to feature them in the same groups (read = or I'll have to remember to pass by your account in the future)?

Wow thank you! I really appreciate that.
I do have other tutes planned for the near future, and I'll probably submit them to the same groups (if I can remember >w<), if you like, add me to watch and I will post in a journal when more tutes are up. Or I can note you, if you like! Or both!

Rofl I know what you mean. I'm watching so many people that there are just too many deviation updates, I have to delete the whole stack. I just remember who's who and go visit. I'll let you know in a little note, if you like.
