Nicknames: Sum-Sum (I fell in love with this nickname after hearing it in Rick and Morty)

Parents: Applejack and Soarin'
Special Talent: Flying/Weather Control
Personality: While Summerfree is a true born Apple, she always has her head in the clouds and often times has to be told repeatedly to do her chores. She's also loud, somewhat obnoxious, and very competitive. Her attitude (and her looks) has many ponies wondering if her parents had some problems conceiving and asked Rainbow Dash for help. She often feels left out in her own family since doesn't feel much like an Apple, something Applejack tells her is ridiculous since there are some Apples out there (like Babs Seed) who aren't farmers.
Bio: Unlike her older brother, Summerfree was planned. Applejack and Soarin wanted another foal, so they had one. Being a pegasus, Summer had a hard time fitting in with the Apples. She wasn't much of a farmer, she wasn't good at cooking, and orchard life just seemed slow to her. Only Soarin seemed to understand that Summer was trying too hard to be an earth pony, something she clearly wasn't. He helped her embrace her pegasus roots, which helped her earn her cutie mark. After that, she devoted herself to becoming a great flyer. Applejack wasn't too happy about it because Summer started neglecting her daily chores in order to refine her flying skills.
Fun Facts:

- Summer dreams of following in her father's hoofprints and becoming a Wonderbolt. So far, she hasn't quite reached the skill level to make it into the Wonderbolts Academy.

- Summer has a love-hate relationship with her older brother, Golden Russet. Sometimes they fight like crazy since their personalities often clash. Other times, they get along like they're best friends. It stems from them wanting what the other had. While Russet outgrew it, Summer did not. She still sometimes wishes she was an earth pony so she won't feel so much like an outcast in the Apple family.

- Summer has a pet vampire fruit bat named Cyd. She wasn't easy to tame, but it was helpful in the long run because Cyd helps keep her kind in their part of the apple orchard so they don't wind up destroying the actual crop. Summer often uses Cyd to mess with Russet since he doesn't like vampire fruit bats.

- Summer was born a few months before Granny Smith passed away.

- Summer's mane is very similar to how some mares wore their manes in Starlight Glimmer's equalist village. Many ponies, including Applejack and Starlight, find it creepy. Summer herself sees nothing wrong with it.

- Summer's speed trail looks a little like fire.
