     I figured I make my original species involved in my characters worlds. This is a closed species!

  This is the Canyon Reaper, the largest bird of prey in Dema's world. They were almost hunted to extinction due to their horns and beautiful feathers. Kill one and it's worth 2 million amount of gold. But a common clan came and dedicated themselves to protect this one of kind beautiful and powerful bird. When the birds shed their small feathers to grow, the clan folks take them and make earnings out of one of them, showing that they are loyal to the birds and that they won't kill them.

  The Reapers are not social in the wild and are very aggressive, which their are like 2,000 of them out there, but in captivity they are social and friendly. They are ride-able but hang on tight! Many are now using them as war birds, which doesn't help them increase their numbers very much.

  They can contain a high pitch screech, telling rivals that they are near and and ready to fight. A low like rumble or a purring means that they are in a good mood. a grunt is in a bad mood.
