Now that the contest is over, I can finally post my version of the redeka's color scheme. ^_^ I probably went a little overboard with the stripes, but I like how it turned out.As I said in the lineart, they're ambush predators. They especially love to wait in the scrubby brush that surround copses of trees or river edges. And then OM NOM NOM!
They like to hunt in pairs.

Bright blues don't tend to show up much with brown. I really like the combination.

I got a little carried away. >_>;; His shoulders and hips used to be stripy too, but I toned it down a bit so it wouldn't cause spontaneous eye bleeding. x_x;

lol No, they don't glow. They're just bright. They normally lie flat against its neck, all folded and barely visible. Sorta like some lizards that can suddenly flip open a frill or show their bellies to expose a very brightly colored bit. ^_^
