Now that the contest is over, I can finally post my version of the redeka's color scheme. ^_^ I probably went a little overboard with the stripes, but I like how it turned out.As I said in the lineart, they're ambush predators. They especially love to wait in the scrubby brush that surround copses of trees or river edges. And then OM NOM NOM!
They like to hunt in pairs.

Um.. I dunno. lol The species is redeka, but this particular one doesn't have a name. I'm not even sure whether it's a male or a female. O_o

Well, the thing about redeka is they aren't really what one might consider "intelligent" life. They're rather like what you might get if you took a big cat (like a tiger), and gave its brain a nudge. They're highly intelligent in terms of hunting, problem solving, and whatnot. But they aren't going to start socially talking and interacting with each other or the Azu-nah.
They're the top predators of the Azu-nah world, and will sometimes kill Azu themselves. So they're highly cunning, clever, and rather vicious, but not really a creature that would have a name.
That said, I think this one will be called Bob.

OM NOM NOM. 
He/she's got this sinisterly playful and slinky look about it. Like it would have no problem dispatching you with a flick of its wrist, but would rather stalk, chase, and play around with you first (like a large cat). Needless to say, the patterns are imaginative and beautiful, as are the varying shades of earthen browns. I like!
