Alexander III of Macedon, was a greek king of Macedon. He is considered one of the most successful commanders of all time. Died at the age of 32 in 323 BC in Babylon after creating one of the largest empires in ancient history. You can say that he is the "father of globalization" because in his short-lived empire he spread the Greek culture into the East, as far as the Persian Empire and India. And all of this with the help of his horse Bucephalus, that accompanied him in all his campaings until died in India.
