Description
Sometime yesterday afternoon, I was thinking about what an awful pain it is to trace stuff, and then I thought, "Why haven't I just pulled out that lightbox of mine? That would make it a lot easier.", so, today, I did. This is the result of inking using that thing, which is a lot of fun, though it takes some getting used to, and the result is a lot of "double inking" mistakes--That is, where I mistook my pen line for a pencil line, and did the same line over again, but in a slightly different position. Then, when I was going to trace it onto marker paper, I realized that I don't have any left. So I colored it just on the sketch paper, but... It looks terrible. That paper can barely hold one layer, let alone two. Thus, the places where I was doing blended colors look really weird, (*cough*Soraven's shirt*cough*) and I didn't even try to shade it. But anyway, when I get more marker paper, I may redo this. But then again, there are enough anatomical/etc mistakes that I might not.
But, anyway, who do you think will win? The starved, half-insane, and completely paranoid mutant, or the trained, well-armed, and brutal assassin? Personally, I'm pretty sure Ormrinn'll win, but then again, if Soraven goes berserk, like he does in the comic book (...Which I haven't made any progress on TT_TT), it's over for Ormrinn. In fact, I did write an ending to the story where Soraven never returned to the temple after talking to the Priest's ghost, and so didn't go berserk when he ran into Ormrinn, and was thus completely slaughtered. Very bloody. Though, it still managed to be a happier ending than that of the comic book.
Unfortunately, that ending didn't work, because the thing that triggered Soraven returning to the temple was the same thing that triggered his going insane... But I really shouldn't spoil this for everyone. Sorry
Also, just now, my father asked if Shimamiya Eiko's "Kyuudou no Hito" was music from Utawarerumono. I'm pretty sure it's not, because it's part of Endless Loop, but I just realized that it reminds me really strongly of the aforementioned anime... Does anyone know if there's some sort of connection here?
Soraven and Ormrinn belong to me.
