i am a little too into my bumblebee kick right now, it's all from that painting i am working on, i have been drawing bees and photoshopping bees and i made myself a bee wallpaper from some drawings i made (i figured out how to make brushes and i was soooo pleased withm yself... :-P )... it's not a work-of-Art kind of thing, but i like it.... so i dunno, if you like it too, you may certainly have a bee wallpaper on me.

i love to "age" things... making it look all stained and decrepit... however since i bought an old house, i am realizing i don't so much love the "aged" look in real life. still love it in paintings!

I enjoy seeing it when I close down my programs. It's sort of peaceful. I think that's the colors. Because at the same time it's a little bit menacing.
I think that's the bees.

i was drawing bees because i think they are kind of menacing, while also being very heavy with symbolism. "busy as a bee" "queen bee" etc... lots of ways to take the idea. and they look neat in that fuzzy alien way that some insect do... both innocent and menacing.

Oh. That's a very good reason. That's how I feel about bees too. Especially when I look at the drawings of bees... so they're really super luminous in that way. I can see through to exactly what you were thinking. Bravo!

Saturday morning I had a dream about a place that was like your parents house but also like Cherry creek and no one would go there because of all the bees and flies. Weird. Your bees rock.
