it's so gothic it hurts. i kind of think it looks like it should go on the cover of an iron maiden album. hahaha! but this wasn't my idea, at least not recently. it's a comissioned work for a good friend of mine who LOVES horses and spooky dragons and dark stuff. we met at a born-again-christian camp when we were 12 and successfully resisted the brainwashing together. way back then i drew her a picture of a horse with claws and fangs, and the christians thought i was possessed by satan. and i wish i were actually joking when i said that. but regardless, she still loves the idea, and here it is in the modern, painted version. don't tell me it's silly, because i thought it up when i was 12, and i was all about dragons at the time, too.Related content

I'm favoriting this for two reasons:
1. It's just awesome.
2. They thought you were possessed by satan when you made this. I absolutely love that. It's hilarously ridiculous.

well, they thought I was possessed by Satan when I was 12 and drawing dragons and marker tattoos on fellow campers at the Weslyan camp.... I made this considerably later in life.

they seriously thought you were possessed by satan when drew this at a chrystian camp?! wow. that's a little overboard. I go to chrystian camps all the time and draw this type of stuff all the time! They dissaprove, but they didn't think I was possessed by the freaking devil!!! But anyway, great picture! I love the sharp teeth and the claws. The background is awesome, too!

Hi, I would like to firstly say that i love this picture.
Secondly, I'm a Christian and i love dragons and horses, especially dangerous looking horses because it is so uncharacteristic of horses in general. I have no idea what these so called 'Christians' are going on about, you being possessed, demonic etc., in fact I'm WRITING a fantasy story with dragons, magic, creatures, war, death etc. God punishing people like that, being nice to gay people is a sin... WHAT?!? I'm quite good friends with 3 gay guys and i have nothing at ALL against them. Soooo... yeah... i just thought I'd share....
Again, love the picture, i especially love the dragon pendant on the ribbons in the mane and tail.

don't worry, i don't lump all christians in with the wacky zealots... they were a crazy combination of weslyand and born agains... which apparently made them extra judgemental! my family is mainly very moderate methodists. i just happent to not fall into the same category.
