Description I don’t believe the cartoon ever tells you cheerleader Tara’s full name, but some fanfictions give her surname as King, which sounds good to me.

Tara King is a kind and caring person, and she wanted a job where she would meet lots of people.

Unfortunately, she hadn’t properly considered what type of people she’d be likely to meet in the less savoury parts of the Tripleton area upon joining the Middleton Police Department.

Here, she has the thankless task of stopping some gang related drug war, and the “ask them kindly” approach isn’t working too well.

Sometimes, a modicum of assertiveness can be desirable. Let’s hope the thugs don’t beat her up before she can mobilise her forcefulness.

Tara is created by Schooley and McCorkle, designed by Stephen Silver and © by Disney. Xena the cat just lends her moral support.

Well, listen they do, but will they obey?

Surely they'll obey her.  If not then, there is always the shampoo.

Then again, most criminals wouldn't have the heart to hurt her.

No, you'd have to be a hardened criminal indeed to lay a finger on sweet T!

Don't know why people didn't want his shampoo. Seriously. So trustful face and totally innocent name of product.

Even his own hair are proof that he knows something about it.

Just OBEY, and your hair will be forever in best state.

Seems legit.

I just noticed the background- "NUDE CHEERLEADERS"

Classic. I imagine Bonnie's having a rough time affording college?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2010-12-05 13:19:38 +0000 UTC]

Well, a) Barkin needs something to pull the crowds, and b) some of the cheerleaders do have a tough time. Not Bonnie, though. In this sequence of pics; she's living high on the alimony from her marriage to Junior.

turbolover175 In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-12-06 05:24:00 +0000 UTC]

Hmm. Who's your first guess, then? It's clearly not Tara, at any rate..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2010-12-06 20:59:55 +0000 UTC]

Well, not Tara or Bonnie, and I doubt Kimmie would dance for Barkin even though she's got a crappy pizza delivery job...
I'd think the two brunette cheerleaders that look almost exactly the same? I forget their names though. But being so similar, one of them could always claim it wasn't her but the other one if someone says they saw her...

BTW, is that an U.N.C.L.E. Special laying there in the street at the one guy's shoulder??

FeudorLaurent In reply to LoveRobin [2010-10-09 08:42:46 +0000 UTC]

Naw, it's more likely to be something from the armoury of THRUSH...

Started me thinking, though. Is UNCLE the direct predecessor of Global Justice?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoveRobin In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-09 10:08:30 +0000 UTC]

I'm already all over that. I see U.N.C.L.E. now as one of GJ's competitive International Agencies. ISIS and ODIN(Archer) too.

My vision of GJ has it as a UN-backed organization and ratified by 12 UN Meber countries.

I had considered that Global Security from Dexter's Lab and Dial M for Monkey was the direct predessesor and Agent (codenamed) Honeydew a young Dr Director, but then I shifted to having GS as another branch of the service of which GJ is par of. After all Director introduced it to Kim as the Global Justice Network.

Also, the airdate timing is just right that Dial M for Monkey Monkey's power could be from the Go Impact Object…

NextianGeometry [2010-09-10 21:51:45 +0000 UTC]

It's all in the details: the poster for Drakken's shampoo, the guy's "Godfather" t-shirt, Barkin's Bar...what's with that? Is it a side business? Did he open it after he suddenly had to leave teaching? Was that because of his "interest" in nude cheerleaders? Is it actually his more sketchy brother?

It's an unexpected career for Tara, and she does look out of her depth, but who knows? Maybe a good few years of uncompromising cheer training from Kim means she's really not to be messed with.

Top stuff!

FeudorLaurent In reply to NextianGeometry [2010-09-12 16:19:13 +0000 UTC]

Sorry for late reply, I was away for the weekend!

Thanks! I had great fun with all the details.

And, wazzup with Barkin? Well, Kim, Ron and all the rest graduated and the Lowardian invasion attempt put a strain on the local economy, so Barkin got unemployed. He decided to open a bar. Perhaps he had some contacts with out-of-work former cheerleaders...

Seeing Tara as a cop reminds me of something I'd love to get my hands on: [link]

Can anyone help?

AmericanGecko [2010-09-07 11:46:48 +0000 UTC]

I'm glad you put Tara as the cop and not some cop-out (pun not intended ) like the nurse or something similar. She really seems to fill the uniform well, even if she doesn't yet appear to grasp the concept.

But to be honest, I think my favorite parts of this are the details that make up the rest of the pic. Stuff like the one guy wearing a Godfather t-shirt, the Dr. D. "Lather, Rinse, and Obey" poster, and the fact that Barkin's Bar features "live nude cheerleaders" (who knew Barking would be such a perve) and serves Sam Adams.
