Description
This is one of the wooden weapons i had completed for a science fiction convention last year, and since its that time of the year again, i'll be hitting the woodsop with some new designs for swords, daggers, and other miscellany fantasy pieces..oddly, i never had any plans, for this piece, just began shaping wood, and later scrawled it on one of my shop tables afterwards...
built it with a plaque, and people tend to treat it as a kinetic sculpture when they see it..
bought last year by a Klingon who inspired me to the do the piece a year before..

I collect knives that this would easily blend in with. I know it's wood, but it still looks killer and would look just as good in metal as it does in wood.

I'd suggest seeing if you can find a rendering arm and get that into mastercam so you can output replicas in aluminum or steel on a CNC mill. You might have to make each part seperately but assembling them would not be much different from the wood version. Some
Actually going from wood to metal in this way would be an excellent way to rapid prototype things like this.

ok thanks a lot :] it for sure will be great fun
Abigel takes her borrowed Player's Handbook...
First of all I assume triax has sharp ends and length as 1&1/5 PH's length. only when I saw the weapon I thouhgt about that size, which is probably handy. next, this light, exotic, distanced weapon needs to be used only by one hand. distanced - but when there's a need, you can clout some impudent orc. triax costs 18 gp, weighs 1,4 lbs (0,7 kg), gives damage 1d6, wounds - slashing, range - 18 m.
traix is escpecially designed for clerics, wizards and druids, as a simple weapon, which don't demand any special skills. but... there is of course a finesse, making triax quite dangerous. those who can use magic, can cover this weapon with Posion or Accuracy.
I think that's all. maybe during the game I will else come across some new ideas.

I saw that at Animazement last year (pic of it anyways) and I always dug it. Kinda reminds me of the Glaive from "Krull." Nice to see it here!

I want to go to Animazement... .____.;;
Very nice. ^^ I really like the blades. There's no way I could sit still long enough to do this. (Even if I had the skills to do it. xD;; )
