Welcome to the dunes of Maspalomas!
Iam back after a month of doing nothing on deviantART.
For the last two weeks I was on holyday on the canary islands (gran canaria and teneriffa) - it was a great trip nice weather, landscapes, people...and I took about 600 pictures...my 5GB card is fully loaded with images.
This is the first one I come out with...its taken at Maspalomas beach...when walking along the dunes it felt like beeing in a large desert!

that does look like a desert! i really really really love this picture! i love the simplicity the most. and i love the curves and and the little ripplys from the wind on the bottom of the sand dune.

sort of reminds me of Ansel Adams' photography with the landscape and the moon. Beautiful in its simplicity, I love it!

Es gibt bei dA ja deutlich mehr Photographie zu sehen als (digitale) Malerei...von daher reagieren die Leute nicht ganz so euphorisch...was natürlich nachvollziehbar ist

If on day you are sailing across the strait of Messina, maybe, you will see a casttle floating in the air.....that was referred in 1818 as Fata Morgana and then that term was used as synonym of "mirage". Very beautiful pic

It's really nice...even though I'm a bit tired of looking at sand dunes. But I really like this one.
Stupid Photoshop...that sample sand dune. In college, all we do is manipulate that stupid image. LOL.
