Man, you need to make a graphic novel or something. I mean, your art is so good at conveying a narrative, even with just a single image. I can't even imagine what you could do if you tried putting several of these together.

One of these days I'll find the time[and to a certain degree, the confidence] to sit down and actually get to creating one. But in the meantime, I'll just be compiling and editing all of my notes into a coherent storyline. Then I can start scripting everything for illustrated scenes and the ilk.

This is awesome. You're getting really good at drawing faces from lots of different angles! As I have said before, your "intiror" shots are probably my favorite kind drawing that you do. I love the little details and jokes that you manage to squeeze into the background. It really lends a sense of reality to the image! I hope we get to hear the stories behind these new characters some time soon!

Whoah, amazing work on the background! All the detail makes it look perfectly realistic (the wood texture and the way books and magazines are arranged on the shelf, it just seems so real, I can't even-) Plus, the detail is very subtle and doesn't draw the attention away from the characters.
I love the soft light and the way it shines through the leaves, too.

(After reading the comments and finding out what was in the envelope, I got so overwhelmed with emotions that I felt like going out and crying like the double rainbow guy, no lie. The intense and heart-warming air of the picture thickened SO MUCH.)
