I had a lot of fun thinking up this comic. It got me back to my roots, like when I was making MLP fan comics based on released episodes. Good times... you can find them deeper in my gallery here. As for this guy, there are 2 themes I wanted to get at- 1. No one ever addressed what carnivores in their universe eat, and 2. There is a LOT of fan content that ends up with these two smoochin one way or another. So much of that around. Sometimes life takes you in different directions.So if you liked my comic-making here, then I have good news for you! I'm working on an original comic series called "Jubilation Strikes" with a published author. I might be biased, but I'm a total fan of it. If you hang around my page, I'll be sure to keep you up to date on its development through journals and a few submissions.

While we're all discussing Zootopia diets, I was surprised to learn that apparently, there are no birds in the Zootopia universe, so carnivores are denied even that option.

That was great, artwork was well done and the story was comedic. I feel sorry for the rats, as it was a nod to ratotuie, and it might be considered discrimination for rats in Zootopia's setting.

SWAT police: *Fire his shotgun*
Rat: *Explode in a bloodymillion pieces, some fell in the soup*
SWAT police: "Whoops! I swear, that was rubber bullet."

Fellow Officer: "YOU IDIOT! EVEN WITH RUBBER BULLETS, YOUR SUPPOSED TO USE DARTS!"
SWAT Police: "Really? My bad."
Officer: "Jess man! Trigger happy? We are going to get sued. I know it."
SWAT police: "We won't be as bad as these guys though. Right?"
Officer: "Sigh."

the writer and director have both said the predators eat bugs mainly. There are apparently lots of Bugza Burger ads and stuff or something like that strewn across the city - and fish, but that wasn't shown in the movie because cuts and whatnot

Well, that is one way to spoil the evening. But true, what does a carnivore eat in Zootopia? I've read the comments on fish and insects. I can believe fish, but insects? Ugh. Even pressed into a meaty looking mold it's still not real meat. Maybe it's reptile meat? And how about birds? Have to be a few birds on the menu since we don't see any in this all mammal city.

Uh... I think Finn eats insects since he's a fennec fox.
Fennec foxes eats invertebrate.

It's declared by the creators. Insects actually contains much more protein and such than meat. Besides, they've had thousands of years to adjust to a none-meat diet. Evolution doesn't happen over night

The only projectile weapon in the film besides the Nighthowler gun was a pistol that shoots tranqs, only seen in a trailer, mid-to-late last year. They may have used those if they had ever got into a scene that needed them... Or Disney mandated they remove them because they were too reminiscent of traditional guns when used on anthropomorphs. XD
