Description
I had a lot of fun thinking up this comic. It got me back to my roots, like when I was making MLP fan comics based on released episodes. Good times... you can find them deeper in my gallery here. As for this guy, there are 2 themes I wanted to get at- 1. No one ever addressed what carnivores in their universe eat, and 2. There is a LOT of fan content that ends up with these two smoochin one way or another. So much of that around. Sometimes life takes you in different directions. So if you liked my comic-making here, then I have good news for you! I'm working on an original comic series called "Jubilation Strikes" with a published author. I might be biased, but I'm a total fan of it. If you hang around my page, I'll be sure to keep you up to date on its development through journals and a few submissions.

Actually instead of meat theyre main source of protein comes mainly from insects. And i imagine the person running this place is some russian mafia type guy who also owns a place called perestroika... I miss liberty city

Why do I imagine the restaurant being owned by some criminal group and this is how they disposed of the bodies.

Did those rats learn to make their dishes from Hannibal Lecter (like from Red Dragon where he served his guests pieces of bad people he killed in their entres)?

That was a good comic. Funny and well constructed by you.
I half expected to see Leatherface and his family (the Sawyers OR the Hewitts) behind the door.

Thank you. I already have a bit of practice in drawing comics, and I'll be making a lot more too.
I wonder what the animal version of leatherface would be like...

You are welcome. I hope the next ones go well.
I would see Leatherface and his families (the Sawyers in the 1974 original and the Hewitts in the 2003 reboot) as wolves myself.

in Zootopia, the carnivores and some of the onmivores eat fish and bugs. this was confirmed both by a few easter eggs as well as the director of the movie. when he explained this, he also aded he thinks that fish and bugs donΒ΄t have souls.

I actually studied zoology for awhile, and bugs are for sure on the very low end of consciousness. How their bodies and brains work looks more like a mechanical automaton than a living organism sometimes. Such weird creatures.

theyΒ΄re clearly alive, but they donΒ΄t have souls. I mean just look at their EYES.

Yikes!
And, depending on what you mean, Judy might wait a long time to see an Alligator. Β The early trailers made it pretty clear that only mammals were "people" in Zootopia. Β Wild, four legged ones, sure. Β But no Anthrogators. Β
Of course, if all mammals are anthropomorphized, then that raises some disturbing mental images about the presence of cheese dishes on the menu.

MetroXLR In reply to Taigan [2016-03-29 09:02:35 +0000 UTC]
Actually, I read that while only Mammal species were featured in Zootopia (the City, AND the film)
It is implied that their are other specie catering to non-mammal species, like Reptiles and Birds.
Primates were nixed ENTIRELY, because they looked too human.

If you want to see where the apes live, just see some old episodes of Lancelot Link Secret Chimp.

FigN01 In reply to Taigan [2016-03-28 19:52:58 +0000 UTC]
I didn't watch the trailers actually, because I wanted to avoid spoilers at all costs. As far as I noticed, there was never a word spoken about what sentient animals actually exist in the universe. There could be a reptilian race out there.
But yes, the dishes do have implications. There's definitely ice cream in the canon story, so some people are employed in producing milk for it. What a fun job.

It could just be soy ice cream, or something similar.

Just a little bit. And the kitchen is the one used in Ratatouille. And the exterior of the building is Gusteau's restaurant with added trees.

The creators of the movie addressed in an interview what carnivores eat. Insects

FigN01 In reply to ZanarNaryon [2016-03-28 18:35:54 +0000 UTC]
For real? I read that someone said it was fish, similar to How to Train Your Dragon. But if some shady restaurant owner was able to pass off real meat as being fake, he'd be rolling in money from customers who didn't know any better. Nothing can replace that savory steak "substitute".

They also eat fish, as addressed in the same interview.
Fish and insects...doesn't sound like it would feed the larger ones, does it?

It really does go well with Zootopia. Just imagining Remy hunting down an animal and chopping it up makes me laugh for some reason. I have a morbid sense of humor. XD And you're welcome.
