Description
During production on the Godzilla TV show in 1998 I included detail passes often taken from the storyboards to help the Animators with the close up textures on the monsters.I inked this one, and again you can see some of my blue pencil underdrawing.

Always happy to see more art from Godzilla the Series! Great closeup of C-Rex's back and the side of his face, so many details and textures in his hide and spikes. Love it :3

They're kinda boring to look at and I had someone else on my team draw them based off my roughs, so it isn't technically my art.

It was meant to be only 40 episodes. The networks could then replay them as needed.

You know, I never really liked any of these Richard Ray is shows & honestly this & Extreme Ghostbusters were my least favourites. But I did always enjoy your creature designs. There were always far & away the best part of these shows for me. And I have to admit, if it wasn't for this series, I probably wouldn't have watched the original films, if only out of curiosity for much better stuff.

The ghosts and monsters were meant to be the big draw to get kids watching the show. That was Richard's idea, I'm glad it worked
