* Updated: Punching bag now have a blue skin.**Updated: experimenting jiggle bones, can be removed by baking them, better rig to remove the bag from the handle.

** got fixed:
1) the bag does not follow the bone correctly .
2) rotate only +/- 90 degrees then goes to the other side.

I want to make the punching bag have 2 skins , blue and red in the skins tab.
but i couldn't find a proper explanation on the internet.

It requires the model to be recompiled. I've done this only once, but it worked I used a program called crowbar. This guide shows how to edit the QC file, but not the rest of the process. I'll try to find what I used for a tutorial, when I get a chance.

I DE-compiled a prop with multiple skins, and found how it was formatted.
Turned out it need to be written as :
$texturegroup "
{
{ "punching_bag.vmt" }
{ "punching_bag_blue.vmt" } removed < and >
}
i wrote it as (copied from wiki)
$texturegroup "
{
{ "
{ "
}
and the vmt file need to be connected to the skin name not the prop name.
