Concept sketch that I'm working on. There's a reason for the "bulky" docking pods on the sides.
Feedback always welcome. Still coming up with a name for the light freighter model class. 
*UPDATE 1*
Added the freighter "forks" in the front along with more detail to make it look like it was inspired by the Barloz-class medium freighter, the VCX-100 light freighter, the YT-1000 light freighter, the YT-1300 light freighter, the YT-1760 small transport, the YT-1930 light freighter, the YT-2000 light freighter, & the YT-2400 light freighter (maybe taking on inspiration from the YV-545 & YV-560 light freighters too?).
*UPDATE 2*
Added the freighter's cockpit & the cockpit "cone" window, though still have yet to add the window detail.
*UPDATE 3*
Added the window detail, the turret, & the escape pod/docking hatches' detail from the Barloz freighter, along with more detail on one of the engines.
*UPDATE 4*
FINALLY!!! It is complete! "Might" add more detail if needed but thanks to feedback from :iconjerichoraccoon951:, managed to get the finalized detail here! As before, feedback is appreciated! I hope you guys like this!
Now to come up with a class name for this freighter. VCX-275? YV-525? The actual YT-2600? Other? 
*UPDATE 5*
Decided to try & replace the sketch with a new clean picture in Paint that is a complete reference (with a few things changed like the engine vents). I still need to work on a few things & finalize the window pattern (along with adding the landing gear) while I need to get a side view done & even make a interior layout. The gold lines at the turret are "guidelines" to help me see what goes where.
*UPDATE 6*
Turrets are now complete & updated the engine vents. Now I just need to add some more detail, mainly the landing pads on the bottom & then add a side view.
*UPDATE 7*
Now colored (colors not final) & window pattern chosen (although again, not final). Just need to add landing pads on bottom & maybe I might add detail & then the side view.

I was just saying... Be sure, you had a look at all possible variants of the YT-1300 and of the various other YTs, so you don't accidently re-design an already existing ship...

Alrighty. Well I'll try & redraw this again so it won't be an existing YT ship. Although it's more of an inspiration or homage to the YT series anyway, along with the Barloz, along with a few YV-series freighters.
