4 is probably the most impressive out of the lot, though 5 looks interestingly badger-like in the face.

I think I like number 8. The others all look impressively broad-shouldered and superhero-like, but number 8 looks very natural, like a bear. Like a real animal. If I encountered it in the real world, I would believe it.

Thanks, I liked that direction myself but the client was a fan of the bad ass approach to design hence the comic book broad shouldered looks I went for.
