I still feel like I should work into this a bit more, but it's taken so long to finish and I should work on other things too ^^
From lineart:
I did do a digital version, but never quite finished
For the traditional original I wanted to keep a more analogical colour scheme and also have it at twilight time.
The original artwork was created using alcohol based markers and water-soluble coloured pencils on A3 Bristol board.
I hope people enjoy it.

hmmm I can't remember exactly. It took a while since I kept stopping and starting.
I think about a day to sketch it and a day to do the lineart. Probably 2 days to colour. But I'm not sure really
I really am bad at keeping track of the time I spend on my work. I should probably time myself and stop taking tea breaks all the time

lol i rush through everything and i don't have a good understanding of drawing so i ask a lot of questions oh do you use a light board when you are going from sketch to lineart

That's ok, I don't mind answering questions.
I usually use a lightbox to transfer the rough sketch to a new piece of paper so that I can refine the pencil drawing without having all the messy lines in the way. It also helps me correct any compositional problems such as the placing of the scene on the page.
When I ink the lines I will do so straight on top of the finished sketch and erase the pencil lines once the ink has dried

Wow, this is such a beautiful scene! My first thought when I saw it was, "wherever these people are, I want to LIVE there!" This is very gorgeous, colorful, and creative. =] The poses are great, the lighting and shading are really well done, and I love the color choice. Plus, all those little details are just mind-blowing! Also, I'm glad to see more people proving that traditional media is just as good as digital!
